Welcome to Illogan Parish Council
At the heart of our community, Illogan Parish Council works to represent and support everyone who lives, works, and visits the parish. We are committed to ensuring that the needs and interests of all sections of the community are considered in the decisions we make and the services we provide.
Situated between Camborne, Redruth, and the stunning North Cornish Coast, Illogan Parish is a unique area that blends rural character, rich heritage, and thriving local communities. The Council operates from its purpose-built Community Office, where Council meetings and community services are delivered.
Illogan’s roots lie in farming and agriculture, but like much of the Camborne–Redruth area, the parish experienced significant growth and prosperity during Cornwall’s mining era. Today, this rich history remains an important part of our local identity.
The parish is divided into three wards:
Illogan Ward – represented by 9 Councillors
Tehidy Ward – represented by 3 Councillors
Park Bottom Ward – represented by 2 Councillors
Together, our 14 elected Councillors work on behalf of residents across the parish, helping to shape a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable future for our community.
