The Council staff support the day-to-day running of Illogan Parish Council, helping deliver services, manage facilities, and assist both councillors and residents. They ensure the smooth, efficient operation of council business and community engagement.

Sarah Rimell
Clerk
Sarah joined Illogan Parish Council as Locum Clerk in August 2011 and became the permanent Clerk in August 2012. She has worked in local government since March 2008 and brings a wealth of experience to the role. The Clerk is the Proper Officer of the Council and helps keep everything running smoothly and in line with the law. As advisor, administrator, and executive officer, the Clerk supports Councillors and makes sure Council decisions are put into action. The Clerk advises on council procedures, prepares agendas and minutes, manages correspondence, and oversees the day-to-day running of the Council. As a key point of contact, Sarah also works closely with the community, helping to ensure that residents’ views are heard and supported.

Charlotte Greenall
Clerk Assistant
Charlotte joined Illogan Parish Council in January 2026 as Assistant to the Clerk. In this role, Charlotte supports the Clerk with the day-to-day running of the Council, helping to prepare meetings, take minutes, manage correspondence, and assist with local projects. They also provide a welcoming point of contact for residents and help ensure everything runs smoothly for the community.
