Background
The Neighbourhood Development Plan builds on earlier community-led work undertaken through the Illogan Parish Plan, which was produced in 2011. The Parish Plan set out the community’s vision for the future of the parish over the following 5–10 years and provided a framework for action based on local priorities.
Developed through extensive consultation, including community meetings and resident surveys, the Parish Plan gave local people an opportunity to influence future development within the parish. The information gathered through this process helped inform and shape the 2019 Neighbourhood Development Plan.
