The Council has purchased and installed waste bins in various locations in the Parish (including Illogan Park).
Services
Illogan Parish Council provides a range of local services to support the daily needs and wellbeing of the community. From maintaining public spaces and amenities to overseeing allotments, play areas, and local events, the Council works to ensure Illogan Parish Council remains a safe, welcoming, and vibrant place to live.
Bus Shelters
Every month, the Council gives all the bus shelters, and the space around them, a thorough cleaning. This page lists the bus stops we manage.
Community Room Hire
Illogan Parish Council Community Room is now available for hire by individuals, businesses, charities and community groups on a one-off or ongoing basis.
Footpaths
The Council participates in the Local Maintenance Partnership (LMP) scheme where Cornwall Council provides some funding for maintenance.
Illogan Park
llogan Park has many facilities for people of all ages such as a children's play area, football & rugby pitches, benches & picnic tables.
Litter Picking
The council is dedicated to keeping the parish clean and litter-free. As part of their efforts, litter is cleared from the parish by the Council at a minimum of every four weeks.
Maningham Woods
To keep the woods and path to the churchyard in tip top shape, we undertake a comprehensive schedule of works.
Mary’s Well
The Council are the owners of Mary’s well and the surrounding benches. They are responsible for maintaining the water supply and planting the trough.
Parsonage Well
Illogan Parish Council have made an agreement with Cornwall Council for the upkeep of the area around Parsonage Well.
Rosemullion Park
The Council ensures that Rosemullion Park remains a clean and pleasant environment through a comprehensive maintenance program.
Strimming
In specific areas across the Parish the Council will mow the verges once a month, between April and September.
War Memorial
The War Memorial is located at the Parish Church in Illogan. The war memorial is weeded and cleaned once per year.
